Broadband access company Casa Systems has established operations in Limerick with the aim of creating over 50 new jobs in the next three years.
The firm’s new Irish offices will act as a base for its non-US activity. Initial operations in Limerick will include manufacturing, distribution, and customer support.
The company, which will be located in the National Technology Park, is also exploring the option of expanding into research and development in Ireland.
Casa provides fixed, mobile, and WiFi network solutions for broadband services.
Senior vice president of operations Lucy Xie said the company was excited by its Irish move.
“Workforce talent is always a key factor when selecting a new location. With a growing reputation for its highly-skilled technical, logistics and manufacturing talent pool, Limerick moved to the top of the list.”
