Developers Greg Kavanagh and Pat Crean have changed initial plans for a development consisting of 400 houses and apartments near St Anne’s Park in Raheny, Dublin.
The pair, operating through their company Crekav Landbank Investments, have reconfigured the project after nearly 300 objections were made to the scheme, according to a report in The Irish Times.
Outside of public objections Dublin City Council flagged its concerns for the area, saying it could develop areas of anti-social behaviour.
The company was originally looking to build 107 houses and 274 apartments on the former religious order lands.
Now developers have reduced the number of houses by 21 and removed four apartments from the project.
As part of the alterations the firm will look to build the apartments and houses closer to Harmonstown Dart station, the paper reports.
